Dr. Weitz
has provided dental care
to families on the Palouse for 32 years. He is an enthusiastic
participant in various state and local dental organizations and has
served as a delegate of the American Dental Association and as President
of the Idaho State Dental Association. Dr. Weitz is a graduate of Loma
Linda University and was awarded Alumnus of the Year in 1999. Dr. Weitz
is dedicated to community service as an advocate for workforce
development, educational issues and student foreign exchange programs.
Dr. Weitz has been celebrated as Member of The Year by the Moscow
Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year for 1995 and 1996. He is a member
of Rotary International and has twice been recognized with a Paul Harris
award. Dr. Weitz is an avid seaplane pilot and loves to ski and scuba
dive. He and his wife of 37 years, Consuelo, have two sons. Rockford, a
graduate of the Harvard Law School, is pursuing a PhD at the Fletcher
School of International Law and Diplomacy and works as an international
consultant on complex maritime issues. Son, Dr. Dustin Weitz, is a
dentist with Bearable Dentistry.
